ah jus figured i'd update this damn thing.

1. Thanks to all y'all who visit my gallery and appreciate my art. Its you who make me a better artist.
2. Apologies to those I havent been able to get back to, return msgs and what not. I'm jus terribly busy atm, like I have assignments up to my ears. But I see a lil less busy days ahead, that means more art.. yes

p.s is there a computer that exists that can fluidly play Crisis at its maximum capacity without exploding? ...I've upgraded the hell outta my PC and this is the only game it struggles with. Is Crisis a game created using alien technology =\

Inspiration

Its funny, almsot everyone I know who intends on breaking into comics aspires to make to Marvel. Whys Marvel so damn popular? It wouldnt have nothin to do with the awesome superheroes they have would it, ya know like hulk, spiderman, the x-men etc? Aint batman just as good? Personally if i got into comics it would be with UDON or Marvel given the opportunity of course. Dunno I guess its coz Marvel is more adventurous and more apealing to the imagination whereas DC is more serious and dark. With DC theres no room for "cartoony" type art, its all more dark and "realistic" along with the stories. But Marvel isnt so rigid with artists and writers methinks.

I'd have wolverine on my team over serious superman anyday...

Ok i watched the long anticipated and perhaps overrated cloverfield movie today, and well though i enjoyed the movie it left me with a deep feeling of dissatisfaction. **READ NO FURTHER IF YOU DONT WANT TO SPOIL**

Now one thing you notice straight away is that this aint filmed like your regular movie, the entire film is shot "blair witch" style, through the perspective of a camera that one of characters "Hud" carries around throughout the damn movie recording the events as they occur. Now for me i think that whole handy cam presentation had its ups and downs.. it was interesting for a while and its definately somethin different but it gets old methinks not to mention action sequences become too hard to follow, what with the camera flying around and shaking as our protagonists run for their lives. Now this is supposed to be THE american monster movie but perhaps you may have realised its a story of survival and doesnt focus much really on the monster, infact we know nothing at all about the monster or even what it really looks like Theres one clear shot of the monster though and its short lived when the camera man gets eaten or some of him gets eaten anyway and by that time you're thinking "about fuckin time". Who the hell runs around with a camera filming shit when theres a 600 foot alien stompin the city and buildings fallin all around with chances of survival being low.. i'd at least put the cam away every now and then so i can run the fuck outta there. Theres a lot of things about that movie that'll leave you sayin: "you wouldnt do that in rthat situation", "that was a stupid thing to do" etc I think this flim had a whole lot more potential and wasnt at all like i expected.

To be fair its a good movie... but for me rather unsatisfying
